Support to connect you with activities aligned with your interests.
Opportunities for personal growth through workshops and social groups.
Helping you feel included and valued in your community.
Innovative community participation is for NDIS participants who want to connect with their community in ways that standard programs don’t offer. It suits people who want to try something new, turn an interest into a skill, or join mainstream community activities with the right support.
The focus is on real community settings, not activities kept separate from everyone else. We help you find opportunities in your local area, then give you just enough support to take part confidently. Over time, the aim is for you to build friendships and skills that last.
This support is usually funded from Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation, depending on your plan and goals.
We support participation across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
