Support tailored to your unique goals.
Empowering you to tackle challenges with self-assurance.
Helping you manage daily life more effectively.
Life skills support is for NDIS participants who want to become more independent in everyday life. It suits young people getting ready to move out of home, people settling into shared living, and anyone who wants to rely less on others for day-to-day tasks.
We teach skills in the real places you’ll use them: your kitchen, your local shops, your train station. Your support worker shows you, practises with you, then gradually steps back as you gain confidence. We set clear goals together and track your progress so you can see how far you’ve come.
Life skills development is usually funded from Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation or Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Some skill-building can also happen as part of Core supports. We’ll help you check your plan.
We provide life skills support across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
Is this one-on-one?
Usually, yes, so we can focus on your goals.
How long until I’m independent?
Everyone learns at their own pace. We review your goals regularly and celebrate progress along the way.
Can this help me prepare for moving out?
Yes. Getting ready to move out is a great goal to build life skills support around.
