Personal care support is for NDIS participants who need a hand with everyday self-care because of disability. That might be help getting ready each morning, support to shower safely, or someone to assist with meals and medication prompts. Some people need a little help a few times a week; others need support every day. We build your support around your routine.
We aim to keep the same small team with you, so you are not explaining your routine to a new person every visit. We write your preferences into a support plan: how you like things done, what you want to do yourself, and what matters most to you.
Personal care is usually paid from the Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life budget in your NDIS plan. If you’re not sure what your plan covers, send us your plan summary or ask your support coordinator and we’ll help you work it out.
We provide mobile personal care across Melbourne’s northern suburbs, in your home or wherever you need support.
Can I choose a male or female support worker?
Yes. Tell us your preference and we will do our best to match you with a worker you’re comfortable with.
How do we get started?
We start with a chat about your needs, then arrange a meet-and-greet with your support worker.
What if my needs change?
We review your support plan regularly and whenever something changes, such as after a hospital stay.
